Spearhead project Wetteren includes the reconversion of an abandoned industrial site, located in the very centre, along the banks of the Scheldt. Its development will back up the town of Wetteren’s regional function and give the town again a view on the Scheldt.
State of affairs: the project plan has been approved by the municipality. In the short-term, the next stage is to be started up, which is drawing up a Feasibility study/ Master plan.
