Schelle is in need of a really cosy village square, with a village bar, some shops and houses. This square is the link to the green area along the Benedenvliet. The infrastructure of a former shipyard is still present here: a quay wall, a slipway. By making the Benedenvliet again fit for recreational navigation, a protected port for pleasure trips could be set up at this spot.

State of affairs: The municipality has formally committed itself within the strategic project. A first version of a project plan has been discussed with the municipality.
