The service providing association is managed by a board of directors, the members of which have been appointed by the general assembly through secret ballot. The board of directors enjoys the widest powers to perform all acts that are necessary or useful to achieve the association’s goal, except for the ones that are explicitly reserved for the general assembly.
The board of directors meets at least 4 times a year and each time this proves to be necessary. The meetings’ location alternates between the participating municipalities. The ordinary general assembly is held each year in the month of June; an extraordinary general assembly takes place each year in the month of December. The IGS-SLP is under the supervision of a government commissioner.
